Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the website operated by Lycan Core (Pty) Ltd (company registration 2025/3351/08), of Kempton Park, Gauteng, South Africa (“Lycan Core”, “we”, “us”), and the placing of 3D-printing orders through it. By uploading a model, requesting a quote, or placing an order, you agree to these Terms.

Our service

Lycan Core provides made-to-order 3D printing. You upload a 3D model, we produce a printed part in the material and colour you select, and we deliver it to you by courier.

Quotes and pricing

Prices shown automatically after slicing your model are estimates. We review every order and confirm a final price before payment is requested. No order is binding until you receive the confirmed price and complete payment. All prices are in South African Rand (ZAR) and include a flat courier delivery fee where applicable.

Your model and intellectual property

By uploading a model you confirm that you own it or are otherwise licensed to have it printed, and that printing it will not infringe any third party’s rights. You grant us the limited right to use your file solely to produce your order. You agree to indemnify Lycan Core against any claim arising from the content of a model you upload.

Orders we may decline

We may decline or cancel any order at our discretion, including models that are unlawful, unsafe, infringe intellectual property, are designed for weapons, or that we are technically unable to print to an acceptable standard. If we cancel before printing, you receive a full refund of any amount paid.

Payment

Payment is made through our payment provider, Yoco. We do not store your card details. Printing begins only after payment is confirmed (or, for EFT orders, after we confirm receipt of funds).

Production, delivery, and risk

Lead times are estimates and may vary with queue and complexity. Because each item is custom-made, slight variations in colour, finish, and dimensional tolerance are normal and not defects. Risk in the goods passes to you on handover to the courier; delivery timelines are subject to the courier’s service.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Lycan Core’s total liability for any order is limited to the amount you paid for that order. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss. Nothing in these Terms limits your rights under the Consumer Protection Act where they apply.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa.
